Circles. Lots and lots of circles. Assuming you have some sort of tablet, you’re going to want to break in the pen and the surface. At first, especially if you have a Huion, it can take a good half hour of rubbing the surface with the pen to get it to not be grabby and grainy. But after you ‘break them in’ you can draw a lot easier without having to deal with the grittiness they can sometimes have.
Also circles are always a great way to start learning a new drawing tool. Draw circles and when you’ve got those down do squares and then spheres and cubes and tubes and lots of regular solids.
Then when those are working take the circles and tubes and cubes and put them together until they look like what you want to draw, add a layer on top, and draw the thing you meant to draw in the first place.
