not both at same time each said it separately faust vision would have had kitty pryde as the main character she pitched to marvel in 2008 and according to rumor she will be pitching it again to marvel after madusa is finished

I have a potentially dumb question, but are western cartoons as a monolithic industry dying?
 
I’m obviously not saying that cartoons as a whole are going to die out, but rather if you look at the number of tv cartoons 2015 vs 1990 there has been a very obvious drastic decline. Is there anything that can stop the decline or are we just going to have to wait for it to eventually bottom out?
