Would the guys who do Homestar Runner be considered indie?

I’m not sure honestly, though they only do one series, but don’t really own an indie company, but manage the series themselves.
 
And they have contributed to other shows too, like Gravity Falls. (Look up “Grunkle Stan Strong Bad” on Youtube, and you’ll find both voice actors meet.)

Am I the only one who hates the way Pixar does eyes?

I guess it is a bit odd the cat there has human eyes.  
Though, at least they give them different sizes, and shapes unlike alot of other animation styles. Even all the toys in Toy Story have different eyes.

I meant more the pupils,it seems at some point this was THE only way to do pupils.  
 
I don’t know why but it really bugs me.

so according to someone on Twitter This means Disney Has no respect for Pixar and they are now just another to Video studio.  
Even though this is only the 1st pick some movie to receive this treatment But apparently onward counts because they didn’t put it back in theaters

Ive seen DreamWorks and other studios do pupils this way,and it’s a big reason I find it hard to watch cg. Somewhere along the line this became the standard.  
Are there names for these things?  
Like I call this one thing the “Illumination Mouth”,in Illumination’s movies there’s almost always a scene where a character’s mouth hangs open after theyre done talking.

I don’t see what the issue is, they just look like normal pupils to me. How else could they look in CGI?

Like I said,I don’t know exactly what it is that it’s me.  
Maybe the lack of diverse style?  
The designs can change radically,but those damn pupils are always constant.  
I’m also the weirdo who had a problem with tiny black dots in a round white circle for eyes in traditional animation.  
Maybe that’s why I like the Little Orphan Annie eyes…

Maybe my attitude towards Pixar/general cgi/eyes has to do with how much I like the films,the more I like something the more I can overlook things I don’t like,the less I like something the more things I don’t like get in the way of me enjoying it. I usually don’t particularly care for Disney films.

I think some of those look even more freaky, or uncanny-valley.
 
Especially, Orphan Annie’s souless, pupil-less, eyes.

There’s a new Godzilla anime coming out,and I hope it has more in common with the western efforts than the prior anime Trilogy.  
At the very least I want N.I.G.E.L. back.
