Merging Plurals (Explicit Text)

flattening -> flattened (larger)
flat is a small tag with a confusing mix of the above content, flat chests, and possibly flat shading too. Recommend the images are split and tag merged with above.

bend over -> bent over (larger)

needles -> needle

“bend over” is supposed to be for commanding someone to bend over…it’s often, but not always, a meme where Rarity is telling you to do so. “bent over” is for the pose. Yes, people mis-tag “bend over” for the pose a lot, because it’s not very clear…

This is a mixed suggestion. sock and socks both exist, but the singular does actually have a lot of singular socks in it. The main problem here is mis-tagging, as there are some plural socks under that tag too. Is there value in keeping the singular? If there is, it needs to be clearly defined as “one sock” and/or the other defined as “two or more socks”.
sock is largely used correctly by two particular OCs and a “small pony in sock” meme, with many more mistagged and more suitable for christmas stocking, socks, and sock puppet (which could imply, I guess). Long story short, it’s a mess.

two sided posters (remove plural)

iridescence -> iridescent

shells -> shell

text bubbles -> speech bubble

screenshots exists in plural because screenshot has been aliased into screencap, which exists only for “official media”. The specificity of this tag is ridiculous, which is why it is consistently mistagged in your eyes. screenshots covers mainly desktop captures of various thing, though there is some mixture. As such, screenshot should be removed as an alias from screencap, replace screenshots, and be given an appropriate description.

screencap should be renamed to official screencap if that’s what it is.
screencap alone should either encompass everything or be removed.
All other screencaps (meaning non-official media) need a tag, as they currently do not have one, and tagging them to whatever they are screencaps of is redundant for auto-filtering. These either need to fall under either a generic screencap tag, unofficial screencap tag, or more specific tags, in the same vein as game screencap (eg. ‘live-action screencap’, ‘porn screencap’, ‘fanimation screencap’, etc.).
This makes even less sense when edited screencap implies screencap, despite not being defined as “only edits of official media”, as there are plenty of edited unofficial screencaps (ie. an edited game screencap), which forces incorrect tagging.

I didn’t read through the entire thread so I don’t know if this has been suggested already:

Will need to figure out what to do where people use gear to mean worn equipment (ie. “military gear”) - maybe just equipment?
