Misty (G5)'s full name

Misty (G5) should be an alias of Misty Brightdawn, as revealed in these tweets:

Wasn’t the “Brightdawn” part of her name just something she made up?

She’s only been referred to as “Misty” in all materials AFAIK, and the context of her saying her fullname as bieng Misty Brightdawn seems clear that she was just trying to make something up on the spot and got nervous.

Anyway, the only reason I noticed this is because someone edited List of Ponies on the wiki to say that’s her full name.

Yeah if you watch episode 6, there’s a scene where Izzy asks Misty for her last name. Misty stumbles for a few seconds, I think once giving “Brighthouse” and looking at stained glass for ideas, before finally settling on “Brightdawn”. Probably best to wait further. Maybe she adopts that as her official last name once she’s inevitably reformed. Also the mods seem hesitant to add last names to G5 character tags, such as with jazz (g5) whose last name is Hooves.

The alias is there at least for Jazz. Not so much yet with Rocky Riff as Rocky (g5).

For supporting characters we usually we go by what’s in the credits, as opposed to a toy name or whatever. No problem aliasing them though, which I will do for Rocky if we know where the Riff name came from.

All images that had been tagged as just “misty” have been retagged as “misty (pokémon)”, “mist”, etc., so the “misty” tag itself is now free to be made either Misty the MLP character’s main tag or be made an alias for “misty (g5).” That should help to prevent anyone from getting confused when trying to search for her once it’s done.
