Should an SVG be cleaned up before posting, or uploaded exactly as the artist made the file?

Background Pony #95E1
I don’t have Inkscape installed currently. In Chrome and Photopea, it is cropped wrong and Fluttershy’s eyes are not visible; in vectorink.io it displays correctly. Also, it appears to have some hidden extraneous data - embedded rasters of the original image that was vectored, and a misc. Pinkie Pie (perhaps used for reference?)
So, should an SVG file be uploaded exactly as the creator posted it, or should it be cleaned up in ways to improve compatibility or efficiency (without altering shapes)?
Furthermore, is there a way to preview how Derpibooru will render an SVG without actually posting it?
