Wouldn’t a traitor badge be made using the necklace that Discord was given? I know it was just a joke one-liner. I couldn’t help but think of an MLP equivalent.
@Silent Wing
Because sometimes cannabis is called “produce”. Sometimes the things I say/write have multiple meanings and context. And sometimes I turn centrifugal motion into forward momentum, that’s just how I roll.

>.> I’m not really sure what marijuana has to do with anything I spoke about, but yes, there are a few states out there that, for whatever reason, don’t want their people growing food for the purpose of eating.
@PlanetKiller
It’s not illegal (in California at least) to grow your own produce. However, in some states it is illegal, for various reasons. In Michigan, for example, you’re not allowed to grow your own produce or have your own lifestock without being a certified farmer. In California, it’s probably not an issue because we’re one of the best states in the country when it comes to produce. We encourage self-sustainability because we could make more money selling our crops to other states or countries instead of eating it ourselves. (Not to mention we’re one of the best states in the US. We have the best healthcare, we have a massive crop yield that gets sold to other countries for profit, and our winter never goes below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.)
Maybe it’s just because we know what we’re doing, but here in the US I can go down to a home-improvement warehouse like Home Depot or even a general warehouse like Wal-Mart and buy seeds for lots of different produce, not just flowers. One reason a lot of people don’t grow their own is because it is more difficult that it seems, and not many of us want to use pesticides.
So there I was, riding the bus on the Freeway home, and I saw a big rig carrying various fruits and vegetables (if the trailer art was anything to go by). The truck itself– and here’s the kicker– was outputting extra carbon to support those plants.
So I’m guessing that company wants us to eat, but not breathe, healthier. Okay.
