Dead fandom? I don’t have any traffic stats in front of me, but I never noticed pony uploads here and on deviantart and fimfiction slowing down during the interim.

The MLP movie still was a hit that brought 50 million dollars on Hasbro’s desk so if they manage to match or overcome the MLP movie 2017’s success level with the G5 movie that’s all the best.
RT is so untrustworthy, I wasn’t surprised they gave the movie that kind of rating. It was far better
Probably, 2017 movie only has 46% rating on Rotten tomatoes.
