She’s going to give birth to herself, and die in the process, and in another thousand years, the next Celestia will inexplicably become pregnant and repeat the process. There’s actually been hundreds of Celestias, all identical and inheriting the memories. Like the Phoenix after rising from the ashes, it is never fully clear if this makes her entirely the same person.

What’s wrong? You’ve never speculated if Celestia’s ever gotten pregnant in the past 1000 years? You’ve never speculated that one of the main cast members could be Celestia’s daughter given all the hints?
 
I mean of course it doesn’t work in the context of your picture, (Luna not being free yet), but you get the idea right?

Hey wouldn’t it be funny if in this picture we found out it was a human Celestia ponyfied and regressed to the age of prebirth. I would understand why her tummy is so red then. Or maybe she regressed Rainbow Dash to the age she was put her back in her tummy.

Same here. The starting premise was okay, but the actual delivery of that premise felt really off base, and then it starting delivering this weird Luna Cultist Terrorist Group plotline.

I think I read both. Little too dark for my taste.

There’s an old fic somewhere where RD was Celestia’s daughter. Like, really old, summer of ’11. Called “Mommy Dearest” or something. Also, another one where RD was actually a princess. Forget the name of that one.

Now that you mention it, RD would make a lot more sense. I actually looked this a little closer and judging on the size of her tummy, I think there is more than one in there. Maybe it’s Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. Oh, or maybe it’s Rainbow Dash or, no wait, not her, I don’t think it would be Lightning Dust. Anyways, I agree now, that Rainbow Dash would be a logical choice.

Only someone with the elements of harmony within them could of released a Sonic Rainboom that enormous when they were 8.
 
You do know Rainbow Dash’s entire character motif has been a mix of Sonic and Disney’s Hercules right? Hell she’s got the cutie mark of the gods.
 
Twilight sounds like a nice fanon daughter of Celestia, but RD being her daughter is the one they’ve allowed to be setup since the beginning. Maybe for some big reveal.

Look’s like baby Twilight Sparkle wants out. Yes, Celestia is her true mother, don’t believe the lies they fed you in the show. It was all staged.

Wonder who the dad would be then.
