I once suggested an “Ash Ketchum” badge for people who try to collect a lot of badges.
 
That idea didn’t fly too well though, as apparently we’re not a Pokemon site. But then how do you explain the copious amounts of Rapidash pics?

A sticker’s some cheap, plastic thing you can discard at any time, a badge is a shiny emblem you can show off to your friends (and even one-up them : 3)

I honestly think it would be nice if fimfiction authors got like a little quill badge or something.
 
Mostly to advertise them as authors. Thing is, when I see a guy with an artist badge, I immediately click to his profile to see his gallery. I rarely click on a user’s profile otherwise, aside from like sending them a pm or something, and I’m betting a lot of other users are the same. If Blissey had a quill I’d know to click and go to his gallery there. Since there’s little reason for me to just randomly go to a user’s profile, and since there’s no artist’s tag to have an “associated user” link, I feel it’s very unlikely a lot of users ever find fimfiction links.
