For me it’s gotta be some 15 years ago, when me and some friends went to a “trendy” cocktail bar, not our usual type of bar but we were curious. There were glowing glasses, psychedelic alcohol, beer fountains… and flaming shots.
Idea was to lean back and open your mouth, server poured booze into it, then it was ignited, leaving you with a mouthful of low temperature fire. You were supposed to close your mouth and swallow after a few seconds, but a mate decided it would be fun to see how long he could keep it going. The server was not amused, he started to panic telling my mate to swallow, used some poor wording in terms of “swallow it” meanings… and we all exploded laughing.
Including my friend, the one with the mouthful of liquid fire.
You know when you’re gargling mouthwash, and you choke and send a bunch of it all over you face? Yeah, imagine that, but with blue flames. Since the burning alcohol was low temp my mate was absolutely fine, and I’ll never forget him laughing like a maniac while on literal fire, as the server is beating the shit out of his face with a towel. One of my best memories when it comes to “dudebro” moments.
