They aged remarkably well. The physics engine of HL2 is more detailed than quite a few newer titles.

I’d recommend them if you like FPSs in the first place. You are silently shooting and navigating puzzles. If you’ve had experience in the genre, then they wouldn’t be that hard. They still have decent challenge appeal, though. The plot is pretty simple but satisfactory in case you were curious.

As an Ace Combat fan myself I agree AC5 was easily one of the greatest games in the series.

Straight-forward.
 
You’re sent to liberate a city from Combine (the bad dudes) control, and you just progress. There’s a little twist near the middle-end to add some variety, though. Same with the Episodes. They’re not complex is what I mean. Not bad by any means, though.

I’m horribly behind on video games because I’m so cheap. Only pick stuff up after the price goes down. As such the most recent game I’ve played is Jak II.
 

 
Seriously, if you can, get Morrowind. It is the best in the series if you’re looking for an actual RPG, with an great environment, history, lore, and setting.
 
Because Bastion is awesome, with an even more awesome soundtrack
 
 
And Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is one of the best JRPGs I’ve played in ages. I do prefer it slightly over Persona 3, and that’s mainly due to a less emo storyline

So much fun, both screwing around blowing stuff up and serious mode.

Toxic, as in centered around poison and wearing down your team. As for my ice, it’s more accurate to say a hail team.

I’m waiting for Pokemon X/Y as well; one of the few things I’m actually planning on picking up as soon as it comes out.
 
I also play a lot more Rock Band than is good for anyone.
 

Speaking of XY, I sure hope the rest of the legends don’t look as bad as the title pokemon and that ugly mewtwo thing.

Okay, the title legends are okay. I’m sure they’ll grow on me. But they just aren’t my style. But at least they’re not more stupid dragons. I’m actually tired of dragons. Dragon went from the rarest type to what feels like the most prolific.
