I'm not seeing **_any_** of the people who workoted on _Chip & Dale 2021_ attached to _Mutant Mayhem_. Just Jeff Rowe, who worked on Gravity Falls, _Disenchantment_, and _The Mitchells vs. Machines_ directing and Brendan O'Brien writing the screenplay.

I thought it was okay. Not the best thing I've seen, but not the worst. Even though it was like 5 minutes, the beginning of the Rise of the TMNT Movie was pretty dark. I wouldn't mind seeing something like an animated adaptation of The Last Ronin. But like you said, the TMNT work best when they're not overly serious/violent and have a balance of light and dark.
