This is something that the scoring system really needs to work on.
Costa gets hit and countered way more times than Rob did but he’s the one getting visibly damaged. Bleeding, wobbling, etc.
This is why taking risks to go for a finish or a clear point earner like a takedown or knockdown is adviseable. You REALLY can’t tell what the Decision is going to be.
Never assume you’ve won swing rounds.

I’d say Gaethje and Islam has the edge by being the bigger guys.
Gaethje got as much KO power as Topuria and Islam has as much grappling prowess as him.

And they’re bigger, so yeah the odds imo are still favoring the LWs.

Someone commented me about this on Facebook says it’s dumb and pointless because Topuria hasn’t even defended the title in this division and Gaethje is au naturel in LW that isn’t Ilia’s worth the time fighting him.
