Yeah, I assume it wasn't included, because they only wanted one Galaxy style game in it, and were probably afraid consumers/critics would accuse them of "sequelitis," or something.


 
"3D Land" might've been a better alternative, but I guess Nintendo didn't want to waste time reprogramming it into a single-screen game, and to work on Switch. (And it's graphics probably wouldn't look good in HD.) Even "porting" games takes alot of work/time, gamers don't understand, because they still have to do/change some things to make it work on newer hardware, and a Switch is not like an "easy to program" PC.
