I dunno, American players like Mac, deapite his flaws. He has other strengths like high enderance, so ghe doesn't fly as far when hit, despite his weak recovery specials.

Ganon's not that bad, I've seen some who are great with him.

Any great player can be really good with the so-called "bad characters." There's people good with Jigglypuff and Pichu even.
