That’s a shame. They really should read the manga (both Murata’s and ONE’s).
 
I don’t know if I’m the only one, but did anyone else notice that there are times when the art and animation seems a bit… unrefined or rushed? When I compare Asura Rhino/Carnage Kabuto with a lot of the other characters, he seems to be drawn and animated a bit more sloppily. Perhaps that’s because of how complicated his design is? I noticed the same thing with Beefcake (the giant). He looked fine up until he started attacking Saitama, then he started bending and stretching in strange ways and the animation looked less fluid.

And since the m/f ratio is so horrendous in this show I’m still sorry she wasn’t written as one.
 
But then since ONE wrote the story (intentionally? not?) as if he was a 6-year-old boy, it shouldn’t be too surprising that the casting is as gynophobic as Axe Cop’s.

I think that’s pretty typical of shonen manga, but given that One-Punch Man is a parody of that, it may have been intentional.

Why is he called One Punch Man? I don’t get it.

Maybe because he only swings one punch at the opponent and if he doesn’t win he just leaves

Is really funny when people starts arguments between who can win a fight versus Saitama.

Saitama is too powerful, he is NOT suited for a damn fair battle from serious shonen characters. He is a parody character from a comedy anime. Is normal that parody chars are very very ultra powerful, normaly in planetary levels, so why not make Saitama fight with another parody character? Like I don’t know, like Arale-Chan or Bobobob?

I’d say superman, but we all know Saitama would kick his ass.

Nah, Superman is a serious character.  
If you want a western comic character to fight Saitama, it would be Deadpool or Lobo.

Parody character or not, it is never stated that Saitama has infinite strength or that he can beat anyone. His best feats so far in the manga are easily matched by several DC and Marvel characters. Being overpowered in his own universe doesn’t necessarily make him overpowered in others.

Except that he hasn’t lose anytime in the manga. Every battle is followed by another victory.  
Even grat supers like Batman and Superman have lost in battles numerous times.  
I know Saitama has a limit, but I will not gonna change my mind until Saitama finally lose a battle.

He’s always won because he’s always fought opponents who were significantly weaker and slower than him. It’s by design. If I only ever personally fought people who were weaker and slower than me and won all of those fights, would it follow that I am somehow a better fighter than an advanced martial artist who has both won and lost fights?

If I won them fairly, you could then argue that I was the better fighter. However, Saitama has never fought the same characters that Superman or other DC characters have.
