Had a good group in Emerald EX. Three clears was enough, no wipes. Spamming Paladin because I want a lion mount that’s not a sin eater. Hey, maybe Endwalker’s extreme mounts will be lions.

Have you ever bought a repro cart of a game?
I think repro carts can be a way to play a game that’s insanely expensive on original hardware without having to decide which kidney to sell.

Looks at battle chances and see pyrrhic victory with high casualties.
Losses show it’ll only be skaven slaves and clan rats.
“Acceptable losses-kills, yes yes”.

20 years later and nothing gets an entire game of players scrambling like the announcement in Starcraft “Nuclear Launch Detected.”

My goal was to blow up Altdorf with a doomsphere but the Vampire Counts went ham and smashed the Empire.
Actually, this whole game has been a roflstomp on the forces of Order. I’d smashed Gelts stupid masked face about 3 times by turn 30, and I’m currently knocking in Wiessenlands door.
Britonia went to war with the Wood Elves for some ungodly reason, and now they’re fighting a three way with them, the counts, and the one green skin tribe I didn’t set on warp fire.
Beastmen, despite their recent buff, just got eaten. They broke Estonia and then I just cleaned up their mess with warp fire throwers. Gors apparently don’t handle being melted very well.

Well, I finished the Prelude for Neverwinter Nights. I even learn that the wizard was shafted in the prestige classes department with the transfer from TTRPG to a video game.

Yeah, i heard the first one was super different, i mean granted Wizards were brutally OP during the 3e/3.5e but still, also CRPGs tend to not have utility as a major element so wizards lose some of their value, same as clerics realy,

Clerics are still tanks that hit hard, even without magic. At least if you play to their strengths. Still, going pure-wizard isn’t that bad in my opinion. No idea when I’ll beat the game (I have other gamed planned for October), so we’ll see how far I get. I did start the second game, though that was on Steam and I’m using GOG for NW1. At least they haven’t throw five party members at me already (unlike Baldur’s Gate).

I also just learn that reputation is what matters with companions staying or leaving in Balder’s Gate. 9-12 seems to be the “sweet spot” where no one will complain.
