Reading up on Marathon’s plot.

I’ve gone from vaguely knowing that Halo is a spiritual successor to Marathon to now wondering how Marathon isn’t just straight up a Halo prequel.

I mean besides licensing and rights means it legally can’t be nowadays.

I finished up the Midgar portion of FF 7. I believe the 1st remake only covers this much so hey that’s nice.

Been replaying the RE2 Remake as part of my overall modern Resident Evil revisit, this time on the PS5.

I managed to get through about 90% of Leon’s campaign without dying, and then the game decided to have two plant fucks and Mr. X surround me while my health was on “Danger.”

I guess AI does have a sense of humor.

Ok I need to start doing the Omori Hikkiomori route because YouTube is flooding my recommendations with straight up boss fight spoilers

I still have not fully recovered but I have to strengthen my mental resolve

When I play a game where you can tackle enemies from earlier enemies that use to give me trouble before, I feel less powerful and moreso just waiting for them to drop the item I want.

I wanna show off how smart I am to my colleagues. What games do I need to play to show off my cultured taste to own them?

Ico, Shadow of Colossus, Myst, I think are some good examples. For they have good art direction”. I better avoid more plebian games like Call of Duty 4. Only the most refined games for me.

If you aren’t making a joke, than you need to reevaluate yourself because you aren’t sharing games because you think others will like them, but to “show off” your taste.

Minecraft.

I GUESS I could get the Resident Evil 4 remake this year on PS4, assuming the game still has “assist mode”. The difference being that there isn’t any “infinite ammo” that can be unlocked with IRL money like in 2 and 3, and I’ll most likely die against the first enemy.

I took out my old GBA SP, and my old charger that I chewed the plug-in part as a kid. How in the world do they both still work?

Geez, my cat chewed the charger for my Wii U Gamepad, so I had to order a replacement from Nintendo and only play games that didn’t require the pad until that time. (This was back in 2015 btw)

You saw that right. I’m not going to repeat it.

Good news, I got all the other non-story trophies in “Marvel’s Spider-Man” (PS4), so once I defeat the final boss and finish the game THEN I’ll get that Platinum. That’ll be my second time doing that after “Sonic Frontiers” (also for PS4). I won’t be able to do it for “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” as one of the trophies is beating a new game plus.

Not bad. The original PS4 Spider-Man was the fourth game I got a platinum trophy. I have to admit, it took a long time to find that last hidden trophy was. Especially since when the game first came out, you couldn’t reveal a hidden trophy like you can now.
