Having been in a magical stasis for thousands of years inside his draconic egg after a failed attempt to cast a spell which allowed the hatchling to shapeshift between their draconic form and a pony form, he was born and raised alongside ponykind as one of them, not even knowing of his true race and abilities until years later. After a disaster destroyed his home and family, he served as a Royal Knight under Princess Celestia's Guard for nearly 4 years, building a strong, loyal, and somewhat kindhearted personality. He moved to Canterlot afterwards, where he resides today with his wife, [oc:stellar shield](/tags/oc-colon-stellar+shield), and daughter, Sunny Flare.
