Bit of an exaggeration there; good SFW art usually gets at least 50 upvotes, and bad NSFW art rarely gets over 100. But it’s true that, if you compare SFW art with NSFW art with the same score, the SFW art is generally going to be higher quality; conversely, if you look at SFW and NSFW art of roughly the same quality, the NSFW will almost always be higher scoring.

People know good at when they see it. Most users here are into NSFW stuff myself included but that doesnt mean people vaule that over the SFW.

Can’t speak for them, but to me, the faith in the fandom thing is more about the way some very good will have a score of 20 whereas bad porn will have like 500, 800, 1000. A lot of people stopped to pay attention to this, even though the numbers most of the time would seem to indicate that if something’s not porn then nobody cares.

I don’t fucking know, but when nearly all the porn is horses basically and borderline bestiality. It fucks with you’re mind when you’ve seen it for 5 years.
Why are we being spammed with artwork of this dragon compared to ponies? that many Artists dislike the only really new pony being Sunburst or Glimmer? xD

By “the best on the top scoring”, do you mean the best-looking image in the “3 Day Top Scoring” box on the front page, or the highest-scoring image? If the latter, it was actually surpassed about 4 hours ago.

No need to bother; anyone who’s been paying attention has surely long since lost their faith in the fandom. I appreciate your efforts on behalf of that cause, though.
