Hasbro generally doesn’t replace voice roles during a show’s run except for extremely minor roles. It’s also possible there just wasn’t another actress of a similar age / timber available at the time.

to be honest, I painted this one fast because I had to prepare my stuff for my trip at Sweden ! But if I could, I would have worked more on this one  
speed painting is hard tho, I’m just used of painting fast for years, the more you paint/draw the faster you get !

Yep, I’ve seen this in action before (in AssasinMonkeyBanana’s streams). It’s pretty astounding what can be done with it.

Oh, that would’ve been interesting. Showing Ember taking the symbolic middle ground between the two characters. Although the image still came out great without it.

Well I have to say it comes naturally when you have already challenged yourself with a timer. I posted multiple times on daily spit paint on Facebook and it helped me getting faster, we have to paint in 30 minutes with a choosen theme that inspired you in the list and then you show what you did.  
Also I know Photoshop by heart so it helps too.  
For this one I have made it witb a different technique than my regular one. I started with black and white and painted values with only greyscale colors, which I never do, I always started to paint with colors directly and search values while colouring (this is extremely difficult to do). Starting with black and white makes you gain way much time but the result may be a little sketchy and blurry. Assassinmonkey always works that way and it can help you learn a lot of thing. But I regret I had to be fast with this one. In the first sketch there was Spike in the foreground and Torch I’m the background but I didn’t had enough time for put theses two. I wish I could have worked more on the details but the final version is still good to me ! It’s not necessary to put a lot of details so…If people like this way well I like it too !  
I’ll have a panel at galacon where I will explain my painting techniques :)

Babs Seed was removed from the show because her voice actress had to move and could no longer make the time for regular performances.

Sometimes it takes me hours or days just to make one pic. (Granted, I often have to do other stuff.)

Some of the artists in this fandom are very skilled. Skill allows one to be fluent in their chosen medium and put exactly what their mind’s vision is onto canvas quickly.

Is this the sort of thing you train for (for instance by putting yourself on a timer for each piece)? Or does speed just come naturally once you’ve spent a long time with a particular set of tools?
