adding to what cheezedoodle said, it also very poorly handled it’s social commentary, had little to no actual plot, and went well out of it’s way to mislead fans into what it was going to be about.

Eh, the city ponies didn’t seem to trust the dragons any more than ponies trust dragons in general (was that not the source of conflict in the issue?). And if ponies really are so scared of dragons that not a SINGLE one has EVER approched a dragon to ask questions in the hundreds of years of Equestria’s existence, why would they do it then?
 
Gauntlet of Fire (+ dialog from Dragon Quest) seemed to imply that Twilight was literally the first pony to even attempt to understand dragons in Equestria’s entire history. If ponies are really that scared/unwilling to study them, a local community of dragons (that ponies deliberately avoided anyway) isn’t going to suddenly change that.

I sense potential for a future Friends Forever issue. ^_^

As much as I like Luna, I wasn’t bothered by the lack of her in the comic. The dragon town does seem off putting but never thought of it. Lastly, I’m not going to question the last reason.

but that’s just speculation and not definitive proof. We will never know what that letter said and if it said anything concerning dragons garbale might not have burned it. I’m not saying the town doesn’t exist in canon but there is nothing that would indicate it does so far. Also the lack of knowledge equestria has on dragons, if they had a small town in one of their cities they could do a survey or just ask them questions and easily get more knowledge on dragons.

Sometimes I really love the more obscure tags we have. In this case, “personal space invasion.”

I disagree on all three. i say dragon town exist in the canon cause remember that letter from Princess Celestia that Garble burned? what if that letter was her telling him about Dragontown.

Legitimate reason: Luna doesn’t get much screentime, for a Friends Forever issue.
 
Possibly legitimate reason: Dragon-town was too unbelievable for some people.
 
Shitty reason: Some people hate Jeremy Whitley for his female-empowerment comic, Princeless.

I’m glad someone in this fandom remembers Mina. Say what you all want about the Luna & Spike comic, but I liked Mina.
