my point stands. she’s not mad at him for doing a poor job (he was). she’s mad at him for offering goods and services for money because “it’s greedy”:

not everyone gets to live off a trust fund from princess celestia or has no bills to pay because they are squatting in a haunted forest. it’s even worse because he wasn’t even asking for “money”, or even asing for it out of greed: the dude was basically working (admittedly poorly) for the dragon equivalent of a candy bar.

Point taken. The writer of Spike/Luna comic already said that Sparity is creepy and i think DHX realised that having him crush on character too old for him and who constantly date stallion in front of him is just cruel at this point and not funny at all.

ha ha ha! srs though, i won’t begrudge anyone for liking that issue but most of the criticisms against it are genuine and justified. i’ll admit too that i’m somewhat biased against it because i hate when authors try to hamfist social commentary into an inappropriate place, especially when it’s handled poorly and especially when it’s a work geared for children.
 
and zecora can shut her stripey trap! she’s the same character who stole from a child to teach him that performing a job or service to earn spending money was “wrong and greedy”:  
 
i don’t know about you, but if some dude swiped the money my daughter made on her paper route, tauntingly gave it away as she begged him not to, and then told her it was “greedy to have a part-time job” i’d beat his ass.

It’s not exactly the most eye catching thing on the front cover to be fair so you can’t blame people for missing it and not everyone knows about the second covers or know what they looks like. The cover most people was misleading and they wouldn’t have seen the small text box cause it’s easy to miss.

While it is possible that Twilight would be curious about a Dragon town, doesn’t that mean she would have been even more curious about the Dragonlands after she went there in Dragon Quest and didn’t even take notes? Why did she never have any desire to go back there until just now?

Well it says right on that cover in plain English that those dragons do not appear in the issue. Not Whitley’s fault you can’t read. ^:)
 
 
But seriously, all the FF issues have a second cover by the actuall artist of the issue that usually is a much better indicator of the plot.

But if the town existed don’t you think the all knowing book worm Twilight would know about it? And don’t you think she’d have mentioned it or want to go there? As far as I’m concerned the comics and tv show are two separate canons that may have similarities or sometimes the same events occur but when it comes down to it they are two separate universes.
