Talking seriously, nobody is stopping you to give him a fanon personality to Flash, I have always been neutral to Flash so I can be impartial about your fanon, just don't expect me to have unconditional love or hate for Flash or things like that, also I´m nothing more than an analytical person.
About Timber, just don´t expect the fandom hates him in the same way that Flash was hated in 2013, we've all matured, the EG movies have improved in one way or another, Flash Sentry has not been expelled from the continuity of EG and he had his chance to be more enjoyable in Legend of Everfree, the Flash-haters are funnier than before.
You need to overcome your frustration that is now obsolete.
