She’s not a spy. Eventide is basically Russia to the United State’s Equestria. They’re hostile to one another but they don’t actively fight because of mutually-assured destruction: Equestria’s magic superiority vs Eventide’s technological superiority would basically destroy the world. Otherwise there is travel and trade between the two countries, and for the most part the citizens themselves are decent folks on both sides. In fact, practically all of Equestria’s technology came from Eventide originally :D

It doesn’t specifically say “normal” on the card, just “pony (e),” which I assume means “earth pony.” And besides, why would someone need a card to tell them, or anyone else, what their species, or even genus, is?

I half expected a piece of paper with her picture and the words “normal pony”
