Nope. In Putting Your Hoof Down, a cherry was going to cost 1 bit, he countered with 10 bits, Flutter botched it for 12, and went way too over-priced when he said it’d be 20; then it sold for 2. This is a whole other level of coin pouch gouging.

Let’s take this to its logical extreme. The symbol for the price matches that of Bitcoin. So let’s assume for the sake of humor that maybe the restaurant uses Bitcoin rather than bits. That means, assuming this picture takes place during the writing of this comment, which is 11/19/22, 7:55AM UTC time, that bill, in USD, is worth $188,542,713.81.

So, either ponies are hecking rich enough for this to theoretically happen, or the restaurant is a scam, and must be reported to the princesses immediately.

Well let’s look at the economics from a previous episode. Fluttershy wanted to buy a cherry and it was like 3 bits or so per cherry. An average cherry is like .99 cents at a Food store. So let’s assume the bits are worth approximately .33 cents apiece. Doing the math that’s around thirty five thousand dollars rounded up.

From this I get that I’m never letting Rarity pick the restaurant ever again.
