My Little Pony: The Movie (and possible seventh season) Discussion

What are your theories and thoughts about the upcoming movie and the possibilities on Season 7. Don’t be afraid of wishful thinking and wild mass guessing here, folks.

It’ll probably be like the Lord of the Rings of MLP.

For some reason, i can’t help but think Equestria Girls and the Rainbow of Darkness will be involved in the plot.

I think bronies will all be dissapointed, because it’s not as “epic and life changing” like they imagined.

I don’t think the writers are that lazy. Being the big finale of gen 4, i would imagine they will try the “epic” half of it at least.

Any ideas for the plot of the movie?

I think it will be a plot like,when twilight and spike write an invitation some megea new star gonna sing but it’s actualyy songbird serende.But suddenly trouble on equestria so the mane 6 were moving other place.

I think that the rainbow of darkness of darkness will make it’s return, this time in a new sentient form named Icarus. It’s behind the corruption of Luna to Nightmare Moon and possibly every other villain thus far (as the comics imply s/he/they was responsible for turning tirek evil in the first place). Her plan is to either make it eternal day or THROW THE SUN AT EQUESTRIA. She corrupts celestia into solar flare to do it (or most of it).
 
Guess what s/he/they gets thrown into in the end?

I was thinking of the season 6 finale and had a thought, I wonder if whatever evil Starlight will be fighting is going to be linked to the one in the movie.

…Right. So we’re supposed to get a seventh season. Actually, we’re supposed to get a ninth season… Good lord. Well, I have enough faith to the point where I believe that they can keep this show as good as ever up to its end.
