Well I saw that season 6 is having a finale and Starlight is going to be the protagonist. I bet some Starlight haters will be triggered XD. Anyways Glimmer has had quite an evolution starting from a intimidating and awesome villain (and one of the only fim villains I actually liked) to being a very well rounded character who actually was executed a lot better than I thought. But I know some fans will disagree and try to throw the “Mary Sue” argument that doesn’t make any sense. Either way, I actually liked how she actually started to warm up and was handled really nicely. I don’t expect great writing in a cartoon (I support 5 characters that had as much character development as the Ceratosaurus from Jurassic Park 3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8Zaf7…) but I actually really enjoyed Starlight for what she was. We do also do have to remember that her reformation didn’t take a day and her reformation wasn’t forgotten just like that. (Anyone who does say that really make my eyes roll) Also keep in mind this is just a cartoon that’s only supposed to be dumb fun entertainment that’s only reason to exist is just to sell toys. I don’t expect top notch writing in a children’s TV show. now I’ve only seen episodes with Glimmer and her evolution is actually coming along really nicely. I do believe this will be Starlight’s time to shine.
