I mean… If you actually looks at their pics, most of them are pretty nice and are exceedingly unlikely to kill you without good reason.
The monstrous ones are bigger and more powerful :P

They’re basically the same as ponies in that regard. There’s no real way to judge good from bad just from looking at them :D
The same way you find out which people in life are good and which you should avoid. You can’t really judge a Lamia’s character based on what species their snake half is or something like that.
Kalianne is venomous because she’s based on the Malaysian Coral Snake, which is a breed of snake with a potent venom.
As for why she’s nice? Badum’s lamia ponies are natural cuddle bugs anyway, but the venomous varieties are also taught to have a great degree of self restraint, specifically so that they don’t bite someone and kill them out of anger. So the risk of being bitten by her is negligible.
Mean Kali, on the other hand, is one you definitely want to be careful of.

Do you speak Chinese natively or did you grow up speaking English? Going from Chinese to Spanish must be hard XD

Hi. I’m Chinese :P
I wanted to learn a second language because my parents were both fluent in Somali and I wanted to learn it too, but my mom pressured me to learn a language that would actually benefit me living in the United States so I went with Spanish instead because, since we lived in Texas at the time, there’s actually a lot of Spanish there. And it actually did help me out since I go to Mexico sometimes for my job, and it’s handy to be able to talk to people XD
I’m Canadian, so I was taught French in school, so I don’t have any Spanish reading or speaking skills at all (though I didn’t retain much of the French either). I just used Google Translate to figure out what you were saying.
