I’m guilty of this.

In fact, outside of my chair or bed, or if i have a specific reason(like cuddling one of my cats while they’re napping), i almost always sit in front of furniture instead of sit/lay on it.

I also sometimes sit like a gargoyle on the arms or back of furniture, so guess i’m also Izzy here. d:
