Well, most of the times that Bulk and ‘shy are shown together in season four they seem pretty close. As for “why more than Discord or RD”, well - Discord is pretty much insane, although “he’s much better now” (let’s see who gets that quote :D), and RD is just as self-absorbed as Bulk, so I could give them even odds.
What makes him “technically” a love interest (and more of one than, say, Rainbow Dash or Discord)?
