Huh, I just realized that is one of her few pictures where she doesn’t make the MLP character the one being berated, beaten up or humiliated.

SO what’s this thread about? Is it about insulting her? Because that feels wrong.

I’m pretty sure since LPS started airing most of her images/fics consist of saying how much better LPS is.

Critiquing art and style is fine. Outright person attacks, insults, and the like are not cool.
 
So, lets bear that in mind and try to differentiate between criticism and out right attacks.

actually, that sounded more pointed than it was meant to be. I just meant to bring it up a reminder in the thread. I wasn’t saying you were unable to do this; which is how my message might have came off.

But yeah, she can actually draw. I actually want to see her draw something original, or something that stays in one universe.

Alrighty then. My opinion on her art.
 
Well, her story’s are convuluted mess. And considering I like to read Homestuck and Superhero comics, that’s saying something!
 
Her art is pretty decent, she needs to work on backgrounds.
 
The thing I hate most about her work is the world. My lord. The world… It makes NO sense whatsoever. They have ponies, Irkens, Imaginary friends, Scooby Doo, fairy god parents. Oh and Twilight didn’t have her friends when Trixie got the Amulet.
 
Under the hands of a good writer, this place would be a very interesting society to look at, like with Alan Moore’s wonderful League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Or it would be a wastleland, cause a) Irkens are genocidal PRICKS, or b) without Twi’s friends Trixie is pretty much an unstoppable GOD. Especially considering Celestia doesn’t seem to exist in that world.

The art seems like a passive-aggressive way to insult bronies, the show, and everything we stand for. The jokes, if you can call them that, and alternate universe references, seem forced and out of place. Not to mention the WALLS of text she posts with every picture trying desperately to validate what is essentially a nonsensical mish-mash of headcanon and veiled insults.

I think her art is great. The problem though as many others I’m sure agree is the crossovers that not only don’t make much sense, if any at all, but are just plain silly. I can understand though that she is just combining all of her favorite characters and in some ways I don’t blame her for that, its just done in such bad taste though.

Especially after LPS premiered and she jumped on that bandwagon. She loves to piss people off and passive aggressively admonish “us.”

I think that any and all discussion with this artist has been exhausted on the imageboard. Most people have a problem with the nonsensical crossovers she does.

Well, she’s also kind of a passive-aggressive bitch who takes every potshot at bronies she can while praising LPS like it’s the second-coming of Animaniacs.

I guess my only major gripes with her, aside of her passive-aggressive opinions in her art, are these three key points:
 

I noticed she puts a lot of Non MLP OCs in her work. but does she even have a MLP OC?

massively multiplayer crossovers can work in the right hands, Just look at super robot wars, but yeah cartuneslover16 needs to improve.

There is a reason, she is the only non-hate non-nazi artist I have blocked.

Cartuneslover16’s art is pretty good, but the weird Twilight Sparkle shippings like with Discord and Mordecai (or rather, Blondecai) are a bit creepy…

I prefer Applebeans. Applebeans brings joy to everything. Applebeans gives art unto the world. Applebeans cures ailments and moods.

Don’t forget Colossal Kaiju Combat which is going to eventually have spinoffs featuring giant monsters from different franchises such as Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman, Cthulhu and Ghost Busters.
