My PC died. (Repost in right area)

Sorry in advance if im not allowed to post this, please forgive me >c< So uhm my PC died. Under normal conditions I wouldn’t do this much and worry so much about donations but that PC was used for me to do Arts which helped me get money to eat, so I’ve been stressed about this all week >c<

Is the computer completely dead? You mentionned it melted some power cords, could changing only the power supply solve the problem? With desktop computers, it’s a trivial operation

Made an update post the fire completely fried it.

They say the pc burned down, but PCs don’t work like that. It is protected by various defense mechanisms. I think they just want to get a better machine for free. Every month they come up with something for which they ask for a donation instead of getting a job and going to work.

I took it to the PC Repair store and the melt from it burned it on fire in the back. I used to have a job but I was let go due to being a new ai software there so commissions are literally all I have.

That sucks. Im so sorry. You have my condolences.

From your photo, it looks like all you need is a new power supply. You don’t need a whole new machine. Should be around $50-$70 for the part and you can either look up how to do it yourself or pay like $50 to have it replaced.

I payed $50 in a sirect deposit and gave them my PC, the next day they told me it couldn’t be fixed.
