The thread title is slightly ambiguous, my intended topic is the first encounter with other bronies. While my TECHNICAL first encounter with a brony was when my fiance flew over to be with me for a few weeks, I’m going to discount this because I knew she was one and the big issue wasn’t about ponies.
This one actually relates to my new place of work, though none here know the details about that. I’m currently working garden center for a Fred Meyer, I had to do some cashier training the other week (mandatory) and met a cashier who shares my first name. It was amusing.
Today, as I was finishing my shift, this same fellow comes through my garden area wearing a 20% cooler t-shirt. At first I didn’t realize what I had seen but a few seconds later it caught up to me and I went out of my way to get his attention, tell him I approved of his shirt and then went back to work.
Have any of you had chance meetings with local bronies? How did it happen and how did it go?
