Although I did have to work today, it wasn’t in vain - I still had a great birthday! I treated myself to a very good burger before my shift, and the waiter even gave me a slice of chocolate mousse for deser.

And that’s not all…
Tomorrow night, I’ll be further celebrating by hosting a birthday dinner with some friends of mine. Definitely makes up for my very lowkey early pandemic/lockdown era 30th birthday ;D

I had an absolutely lovely cigar today. Finest I’ve had in years. A smooth, pure tobacco start with a cherry and hickory finish. Burned clean, and slow, lasted a whole hour and a half.

I went out for a meal and drinks at a gastropub with some close IRL friends of mine earlier; My birthday dinner essentially, although my actual birthday was yesterday.

One of the aforementioned friends is currently sleeping over at my place. We played Switch and had snacks before heading to bed.

All in all, it was a wonderful time :)

I got a new phone. It’s really nice, and has extra glass and armour.

I set up voice and Swype already.

It’s 2 models newer of my backup phone, so i just had to switch sim and cable them together for a bit.

Happened a while ago. But it’s still kinda great how I found my old G3 pony brushable! She’s a bit… well, she didn’t age well, a bit messy and her mane’s been cut it seems. But I’m still keeping it. It basically is retro now, and was a part of my childhood!

Now I have RD, Pinkie, Fluttershy and a G3 Scootaloo in my collection!
