Here’s something I tried last night that was really good: hot coco with a shot of rum in it. You can barely taste the rum, and what you can adds a nice little kick to the coco.

Shoots plasma that kills enemies. If you charge it it releases a big bolt. In later games it can take down air vehicles shields or power. I forget which.
