Underrated Thread

Ever saw that movie you liked but no one else ever talks about? Well, this is the place for that.
 
So yeah, as the tile implies, this thread is for the things that, as good as they were, were never given their proper due. Why? I dunno. Lack of advertising, usurped by a better project that may have also been better advertised and even lack of interest may have a hand in that.
 
So without further ado, post everything you think should be given more attention by people who love entertainment in general.

It gets enough attention as it is. Appreciation is what it doesn’t get. CoD isn’t a bad video game series, just that once you play more than three games in the series you start to get real sick of how repetitive it is. And repetitiveness isn’t a negative trait by itself, it’s just that if you’re overexposed to the series it can make you worn out quickly.
 
Each game on their own is perfectly fine imo. Just don’t go out and buy the whole series all at once, then play them all in a row. All you really need to do is stick with a single one you like. If you can handle owning multiple entries in the series, then go ahead, more power to you.

I felt that Code Lyoko was severely underrated.  
I mean, I don’t know anyone IRL that’s seen it.

I’ve watched Looper. I liked it. Though the time travel stuff gets more confusing the more you think about it.

“Live and Learn! Hanging on the Edge of Tomorrow!” Sorry, couldn’t resist. But yeah, this film is awesome. Heck, it’s my favorite film of 2014.

It’s generally well liked by the people who know of it and have seen it, but it’s still pretty obscure
 
Stuff from it is posted quite a bit on various corners of the internet, but it’s pretty much only ever the deer suplex or the goat flip (and on occasion Hakase’s popcorn gif), not much else
 
I actually think more people know of Nichibros (Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, which I actually have yet to see myself) than there are fans of Nichijou itself. Going by MyAnimeList, Nichibros does have more people who have actually put it in their logs and/or voted for it than Nichijou itself did.
 
There’s more obscure stuff, sure, but dang do I love Nichijou. If my presence around here isn’t proof enough, I definitely think it should be given more attention.
 
Especially the manga, which thankfully people will get a chance to get an official English translation that they can support officially starting at the end of this month, because everyone only ever talks about the anime and the series still goes pretty deep outside of there. Since there’s pretty much never gonna be a S2 for the anime, I definitely recommend going there to satisfy your hunger for more. It keeps relatively the same feel as the anime as well, just that it’s not animated. Other than that, it’s pretty much 1-to-1 in many places (except for the fact that Nano starts off as a student in the manga instead of joining them later down the road like the anime does).
