Without section 230 there is no user generated content on the internet. That includes posting in threads or writing reviews on products, never mind art or game mods or whatever else. It would mean all user content has to be pre-approved before it’s posted, because if it’s posted it means it’s the site that’s saying it.Without getting into a lot of examples, the short of it is the internet can’t exist without it. It would just be a sterile collection of company websites, basically an interactive mall kiosk.
