I’ve been roaming on youtube coments with Transformers media.
However, I dunno if is just my luck, but while I’m not stranger to fandom rivalries, does anybody else think sometimes the fandom of both Decepticons Megatron and Starscream seems to at times have a cold war between each other….if not sometimes likely despise each other?
It’s weird how fiction became reality to an extend but is a bit concerning.

As someone who only barely knows about Transformers save for the Beast Wars cartoon and Transformers: Animated, why is the movie having the Maximals and Predacons be in the same era as the the Autobots and Decepticons? Aren’t the former supposed to be the future descendants of the latter?
Is there like some comic I’m missing out on?

It’s a different continuity they can mixes whatever concepts together they want.
Although some producers will try to say it’s in continuity with the other movies like they tried to claim with Bumblebee I’m sure.

Also Animated also featured the odd version of Beast Wars characters in it albeit as Autobots and Decpticons so I don’t think under why ROTB is confusing but TFA didn’t.

I was wondering if Studio Series would be an excuse for a new Devastator.
Though considering core Dinobots can combine I was also hoping that could lead to a new Micromaster Devastator.

Admittedly he tends to get humiliated often…in a worse way than G1 and Prime (the former dish as much as he receives and the later is better at scheming and leadership).

I’ll never not be satisfied seeing Megatron!Galvatron disintegrating Starscream after backstabbing him one too many times.
The way he asks “Megatron? Is that you?!” just screams “Shit, I really fucked up this time.”

Transformers One will be an origin story where Optimus and Megatron were once steel workers, side-by-side.
Definitely looks like a page from the G1 Marvel stories.

Since this doesn’t already exist, I’m starting a Transformers thread.
Beast Wars is the best Transformers series. I’m rewatching it right now thanks to the Shout Factory DVDs, and it’s still freaking awesome. The CGI may not have held up as well, but you have to remember that when it was first released, it was groundbreaking.
Shame, I was looking forward to more series.
David Kaye and Alec Willows are my favorite VAs.
I hated going to school because it was always in the middle of the show.

I admit I like it better Wheeljack as a wacky inventor. Prime Wheeljack is fine but I loved how kookie the original Wheeljack could get.

Prime Wheeljack is cool, but he really is the best as a scientist/inventor, it’s why I still prefer G1/Cyberverse/Earthspark Wheeljack
