Poll on expanding Rule #5

Should we allow real human nudity/exhibitionism on the site?

58% -> Pony-themed clothing (ex. Rainbow Dash bikini), bodypaint or cosplay is acceptable  
18% -> Only cosplay/bodypainted material is acceptable

If some content is allowed, should it be spoilered/hidden by default?  
36% -> No, as long as they’re tagged properly the existing ratings are fine

64% voted that they wanted some form of filtering or another. From now on the human nudity tag will be a default Spoiler tag. This means the tag will automatically be added to everyone’s Spoilered list once I flick the switch, and you will have to add it to your Visible list if you want to see it without the spoiler image (which I’ve yet to make, didn’t think I’d have to, tbh).
 
It also means that this tag application will be much stricter and subject to moderation (continuously failing to add it or intentionally removing it where valid will lead to bad things happening to you). Human Nudity will cover any image of a real human being nude or semi-nude (for example, in a bikini); basically any image of a real person where the focus of the image is to show off skin.
 
 
“Cum on toy” images  
56% -> No, this content should not be allowed  
19% -> Yes, this content should be allowed, but hidden by default  
11% -> Yes, this content should be allowed, but spoilered by default  
14% -> Yes, this content should be allowed, and as long as it’s properly tagged the existing explicit filtering is fine
 
56% want the images banned. While that is a majority, it is not by a sufficient enough margin to merit a content ban. Instead, this content will be hidden. We’ve created a new tag, “merch sexploitation” that will be hidden by default and will be implied by the “cum on toy” tag (and applied retroactively to them). This was chosen as we could now cover “cum on toy” images, as well other various bodily excretions, on toys or other items (like trading cards). You will have to set “merch sexploitation” as visible or spoilered in your settings in order to see this content.
 
This tag will be subject to strict moderation; misapplication of the tag, not tagging it where appropriate or removing it from images it should apply will result in very bad things happening to your account.

Update
 
Human Nudity goes back to exactly what it sounds like and remains spoilered. Human Exhibitionism is (non default) the tag that will be used to cover both human nudity and people in various states of dress or undress that are essentially just showing themselves off. Human Nudity implies this tag. For clarification, pictures of cosplayers that aren’t half-naked (or more) and aren’t provocatively posed or something should not get either tag.

Personally a big advocate of anything pony-related enough and legal to post being here as long as the tagging is enforced.

I’ll say what I said in the survey comments:
 
All this stuff will be tagged explicit, so guest users won’t even know about it.
 
As long as it is tagged properly then the content in question can be put on the hidden list by registered users who are offended.
 
I am of the strong opinion that the proper way to deal with controversial material is for those who are offended to avoid it themselves, and not impose on others.

Anything posted exclusively by Sid should be banned.

I’m not concerned with people getting offended, but I am concerned about this stuff getting worse. There’s just some things that don’t belong here, ever.

We have several tags related exclusively to whatever Sid decides to dredge up and even he is given a “limit.”

Said it before, I’ll say it again, we don’t need to coddle people with censor screens. We have systems in place for people to use to avoid the content they find offensive. If it is tagged properly than it should stay, if it’s not than it’s already covered under that blanket rule to begin with.
 
Spoil it if you must, but my 2 cents is no new banning.

This poll is foolish. Derpibooru is for pony-related work, and the listed categories are not pony-related, despite attempts to disguise them as such.

Cum on toy is hilarious, I’d like that to stay. Human nudity? No thanks.

I’m honestly a little torn. On the one hand, this is a site that openly allows (of-age) pornography, and it seems unfair to discriminate against one particular type, especially when there’s a decent filter system in place so people can avoid it.
 
On the other hand, I personally DO find both categories highly objectionable, especially “cum-on-toy”, which was one of the very first things I filtered out once I set up my account here, so I won’t be sad to see it go bye-bye. Additionally, I’ve never been a fan of explicit cosplays (“shameless exhibitionism”), thus again I won’t miss it.
 
But is it my place to tell other people they can’t upload it? I’m not so sure.

Human nudity with body paint or costumes actually has some work put into it, and is definitely related. It’s just more cosplay and porn, stuff that this site already allows.
 
Cum-on-toy… I’ve never been sure whether that’s an attack or not. If it’s attack material, then it’s already banned.

Cum-on-toy should be banned and the violators shot.

I didn’t realize human exhibitionism is such a problem. I only found the likes of pixel vixens really guilty of this and they only have 12 images on the site. Am I missing a bunch of other images?
 
As I said in my Poll entry, I remember a girl who would take low quality webcam pictures of herself naked, but a Pinkie Pie toy would be in the frame. Stuff like that is just lazy and barely Pony related, at least the Pixel Vixen stuff has more effort put into it via hair and makeup.
 
As for cum-on-toy, WHY is this a thing? Yuck!

I don’t see any reason to allow “cum on toy”. The thought of treating a pony toy that way is disgusting and disturbing.
 
I don’t like real human nudity/exhibitionism either. Either it’s not pony-related enough to be here or it’s sexualizing the characters in a way which I do not approve of. However, it does have the redeeming qualities mentioned by Sjogre, so I can understand keeping it.

When we’re saying “exhibitionism”, we’re mostly talking about those people that take a photo of themselves nude/semi-nude hugging a plushie or sticking a rainbow-dash themed big dragon dildo up their urethra.
 
Cosplay and whatnot is hardly an issue, but we felt it should be in the poll to make it clearer and the data more relevant.

Nudity , like erotic cosplay…yes , it happened , and it wasn’t bad , should be allowed.

Yeah, that changes things significantly.

I don’t see anything wrong with explicit cosplay, though I’m not exactly the biggest fan of IRL human porn. Just make it at least somewhat pony related.
 
Pixel Vixens, etc: OK, though I don’t like it.  
Bodypaint: NO.

The last thing is no less than damning if it escalates any further. Reminds me of the realdick spam the ’booru had, incidentally, just before it died.
