Season 6 Episode Discussion [Speculation/Theories/Beware of Spoilers]

That would probably spoil episode 3 of starwars for all the little kids out there who have not see it due to protective parents…then again what 7-9 year old would care?

“Explore Equestria” is the new toyline, and this promo seems to suggest it will be the theme of season 6.  
Which is odd, considering the season 5 map episodes fit that description as well. I’m guessing that just means they will continue to have it send pairs of ponies on missions throughout season 6.

I wonder if the episode is going to center on it? Or it is going to be something else?
 
Also, this has to be the fastest time we have ever got a new season spoiler in between seasons.

But then, Manehattan is becoming more like Canterlot with its increasingly frequent appearances. Heck, it’s even more visited than the Crystal Empire by this point. I’m hoping they’d go to Los Pegasus, Vanhoover, Baltimare, or and of those new places revealed on the map.

I’ve been to NYC plenty of times back when I used to live in NJ, and it’s a fun and exciting place. But it’s busy as fuck and difficult to get around. Also, I’ve hardly had any “trouble” with the locals.
 
So I have zero qualms with the show frequently visiting Manehattan.  
In fact, I actually get rather nostalgic about my life back when I used to live in New Jersey.

Other explore Equestria toys don’t give hints like this.

I don’t know about you. But I don’t like looks of the east coast, Atlantic regions much. I prefer the west Pacific coast’s friendlier sunnier feel.
 
Los Pegasus please!

You know what I think would be cool? For their little exploring thing, I want them to go to a ponified version of Munich, or maybe just a general Bavarian setting, and they end up having far superior Cider to what Applejack can produce.
 
I know that won’t happen, but that sounds like it could be kind of funny to me

It might just be me, but I’m worried that ratings will be low again. Ratings weren’t exactly high when S5 started in spring, and it looks like S6 will premiere in the spring.

The whole Explore Equestria theme seems like the perfect opportunity to put Cherry Berry in the background of every episode, and have her pilot increasingly bizzare flying contraptions.

…only if we get some world-building on the lands and races outside of Equestria. Though I guess seeing if Applewood is actually like golden age Hollywood could be good as well.

Our theme this season is Explore Equestria, so I’ll be disappointed if all they do is show a bunch of new sets with nothing interesting in them.

Well guys, I’m likely going to miss Season 6.
 
At the least, I’m not going to be able to see Season 6 for a long, long time because I’m leaving for Boot Camp in May… Maybe if season 6 comes out before, I can watch it. I hope.
 
Anyway, this Season has some potential IMO– with Starlight, the Map, Cadance’s baby, etc. Equestria’s so widespread and so big, I feel like maybe the writers will continue the Map arc to explore more of it. Maybe not. It’s definitely going to be interesting for sure!
 
PS: All I’m asking for is a flashback episode. Whether it be Celestia and Luna’s sister relationship or how Cadance became an Alicorn… Equestria history is very facinating. I’m wanting to see more!

S6 is being speculated across the fandom for a premiere popping up in April, so you might be able to catch something at least if that’s the case.
