The world to you has always been a peaceful one. Living at the edge of the continent had its advantages, no war or terribly frightening monsters, good harvests and bounteous catches, and the blessing of the goddesses, spirits, and other such deities which keep the world turning.
You are a child of this world, Erostahl. Here the balance between order and chaos has always remained in check. The town of Camulyar is your home, from the port side by the shoreline, the businesses by the walls, and the homes sandwiched in between, it was all you had known. Save for the odd excursion to the wooden fort at the end of the peninsula, or the old castle and the great forest. Though none knew what lands lie beyond the Greatwood.
This is your journey, to go out and embrace the world places before you by the gods. May you too find your calling in this world and experience some measure of happiness and joy.
