F.F. stands in a dark corridor, a pungent stink emanating from the halls. Suddenly, he catches glimpse of a tall alicorn-like pony that seemed to resemble an insect with her wings and carapace. This was the Queen of the Changelings.

F.F.: I think I heard about them on the news concerning a royal wedding that happened a couple years ago.

Chrysalis: And you’re standing before their queen.

F.F.: Whoa… So, what are changelings, exactly?

Chrysalis: Our kind can shape-shift into other ponies and we feed on love. I don’t have to explain everything, do you?

F.F.: (gives her a good whiff)
