the tags “alex gaskarth” and “jack barakat” should probably be renamed to “oc:alex gaskarth” and “oc:jack barakat”
id redo the tag myself but the first oc’s tag has over 70 images and the second has over 50

Topic on giving such tags distinguising colors, if you wanted to check it out.

(On a related note, I wish we also had a tagging distinction between ponified as in “non MLP-thing made MLP related” and ponified as in “any non-pony being species swapped into a pony”, where there is overlap between the two but nonetheless are two distinct meanings…could use rule 85 for the former definition?)

Me too, same for Equestria Girls-ified (awful tag name) as both tags mean multiple things in one unlike every other -ified tag which are very simple and not the same at all.

I typed this before realizing you said basically the same thing.

It’s also why I wish the show characters all implied some tag-I-don’t-know-what-to-name that signifies a canon character is present, because -oc isn’t sufficient, -ponified is an overreach, there are too many characters to account for them all individually, and there’s no image search syntax like “category:character”.

I have no idea how feasible it would be to implement, but this seems like it would be the best way to do it.

I also have some skin in the game since several of my big tagging projects are currently forced to use hyper-strict filters just to make mass-tagging somewhat manageable.
A search that says “there’s a canon character here” would be monumentally helpful.

Yeah I really wish it was possible to search invisible categories outside of the /tags page.

I just came across the little-used tag ponified celebrity. Would that be good to tag on your band member illustrations?

Personally that’s too minimally used for me to want to make it into what would end up a personal tag unless I do out of my way to tag it on every other one I see.

And also it only barely ‘solves’ one of like a dozen issues so it’s kind of a bandaid on a broken bone.
