In the matter of "ass up" and "plot up"... [NSFW]

Something needs to be done here. The fact that this idea is criminally undertagged is noteworthy, but can be handled another time. We need to decide whether to alias these or fix them.
 
Personally, I think it would be acceptable in this specific case to tag all asses, plot-inclusive, with “ass up” (and thereby alias “plot up” into it). But if someone can argue a sound case for keeping them separate, we need to change all pony images tagged “ass up” to have “plot up” instead, employ this from now on, and probably imply the general tag for each (“ass” and “plot” respectively).
 
Thoughts?

I’m aware of that tag, and honestly I’ve often wondered if we even need “ass up separately. Usually I only tag it if the face isn’t exactly down, but I guess it’s kinda relative.

I agree. Alias both into fdau.

Looking at the “ass up” tag. A large number of its pics apply for the “face down*” tag.
 
I’m votin: Alias it all into “Face down ass up” and call it a day~

A couple images in that tag don’t really look all that “face down” but then neither do they really look “a** up,” either. I’d check to see how many of them deserve a more appropriate sticking-your-butt-out tag before the alias. Which is still a good idea.

Or we could alias them first and then fix outliers, since they’ll all be under one tag.

In my experience, it’s easier to find outliers when there aren’t as many images to sort through at once.

It’s the same number of images to go through either way. Just a matter of whether they’re in the same place. :p
 
That said, it doesn’t really matter to me which way we do it. If you’d like to, start scanning through for images that don’t really fit the “face down, ass up” attitude when you get a chance. I’ll try to do some when I get home from work later.
