[SPOILERS] Updating Meadowbrook tags

As of now, the meadowbrook character tag is shared with two different characters: the original G3 Meadowbrook, and G4’s Mage Meadowbrook (“Mage” apparently being a part of her name, according to the IDW synopsis for “Legends of Magic Issue 6”). While there is already a mage meadowbrook tag, it’s just a generic tag. We should update “mage meadowbrook” as a character tag, and rename the existing character tag to “meadowbrook (g3)” to prevent confusion.

Mage is a profession so i’m going to apply occam’s razor here and assume the capitalization is a typo.
 
She should probably just be Meadowbrook while the g3 version is Meadowbrook (G3)
 
Aliases can fix it later if that turns out to be incorrect.

Very well. But just keep in mind that while the synopses are known for their occasional typos, the phrase “unless Mage can think quick” looks like more than just a capitalization error.

Well, a preview for Issue #58 of the main comic is out, and its summary says it involves Mage Meadowbrook. And wouldn’t you know it, one of the characters says, “Mage spent some of the last years of her life…” (seen here)
 
Looks like “Mage” is part of the name after all.

New episode released early in Russia, and the credits just call her “Meadowbrook”. However, the subtitles are said to be from the leaked script, or so I’ve heard (still need a source on that). I noticed that in this version, where the subs need to be turned on with the video, “Mage” is fully capitalized, while in this version where the subs are edited into the video, it’s lowercase at 6:48 and capitalized at 8:01 in both instances where it isn’t at the beginning of the sentence.
 
With the likelihood of “Mage” being her title, I still stand by renaming the tag to include it, just like other characters like Princess Celestia and Captain Celaeno, but now I’m open to keeping it the way it is. Either way, I still request a merge between tags. Whether it’s “Meadowbrook” or “Mage Meadowbrook”, I’ll leave the final decision to whomever is in charge of this.
