Hey, gang.. Andy used “was” because we only fostered her for a few weeks before she was old enough to release back into the wild! Once she was old enough to fend for herself, she went on to live a regular possum life on a protected wildlife preserve.
We had a cat who couldn’t come inside because our other cat didn’t have claws (his previous owners declawed him) and they always fought every time they got near each other, and I frequently had to chase possums away from his food bowl with a broom.
Because it is. ;).
They may look adorable, but they’ve got a pretty nasty disposition. Not exactly your cuddly pet, the pic notwithstanding.

Almost makes me forget all the opossums I shot as a kid because they attacked our chickens.
