As one who likes bad ends, this is a really good one! Eat ’em, promise to get them reformed, then accidentally waits too long and works off the fat.
Yeah that reminds me, when Nom was answering questions related to Moondancer, I had this image in my head of Twi finding the pony who ate her skinny.

Also I wonder if they regained weight after having lost it, what effect that might have on the whole process.

I’m sure there’s some kind of a time limit, or maybe a fat limit. for instance, I’d imagine that if AB were to work off all that pudge applebucking, then twi wouldn’t have anything left to bring her friends back with.

I’m overthinking this stuff, but these reformation spells sound like high level magic. Wonder if there is a certain time limit you have to do it in order to get your friends back?
I’d probably find it a lot more weird if it involved humans rather than cartoon ponies. Personal preferences I guess.
