It’s most likely that Discord is an immortal as well, just like Celestia and Luna.
I’m just done with this nonsense. You are starting to seem like a fanatical Fluttercord fan who won’t see any way but yours. And I’m not going to waste my time anymore with it.
Thats just your headcanon. For all we know, Discord might be mortal along with Princesses. No one ever will die on this show anyway so it is irrelevant who would die first or last or who will gain immortality and who don’t. What’s matter is that writers have their preferences in the main storyline.
That’s the comics, not the show, so don’t try using that as an excuse.
And I’m pretty both Celestia and Discord are immortal, not only because neither the show or comics have specified how old they are, but because Celestia has lived for literally thousands of years and still looks the same. I’m pretty sure Discord is in the same boat as Celestia and Luna.
It doesn’t matter, because
A)canon Discord is into Fluttershy
B)canon Celestia isn’t immortal
C)canon Discord might not be immortal as well
D)If Discord is immortal then his and Fluttershy child will also be immortal and keep him company
The show won’t just give Discord a random new love interest just because of similar life span anyway and Celestia was already shipped with Sombra in comics so it’s even less possible. At best it would be Luna or Twilight.
I say this mainly because Fluttershy can’t always be there, you know, having her own life and everything. Not to mention that if Synthia is practically immortal as well, Fluttershy literally won’t be around forever. That and Celestia is a super motherly type. I can just see Discord running to Celestia when he’s super stressed out over parenting.
I highly doubt that would happen either.
She might not get married but she might involve herself in romance at some point.
I doubt anyone at all gonna marry her in the show, and I’m fine with it.
Once the sun was up the next day, Discord was flying through the sky, with little Synthia in his arms, on his way to Fluttershy’s house. If anybody can help him with being a dad, it was Fluttershy’s husband, Big Mac. He’s been through it twice, so maybe he could give Discord a few pointers. Once he landed, he knocked and waited patiently at the cottage door.
“Oh, hello Discord”, said Fluttershy, who didn’t notice the little bundle in his arms.
“Good morning Fluttershy. Quick question, is Big Ma-”, he was interrupted by a little orange colt running towards him with a big smile on his face.
“Uncle Discord!!”, said Fluttershy’s two year old son, Chrysanthos. He ran up to Discord, fluttering his little wings, and gave him a big hug.
“Hey there kiddo! How’s my favorite nephew?”, Discord asked, chuckling.
“I’m-”, Chrysanthos then noticed something in Discord’s arms. He couldn’t really tell what it was until he heard a tiny sneeze come from the little bundle, and saw it breathing. Then he let out a gasp. “Baby!”, he said excitedly.
“What, oh!”, said Fluttershy, surprised to see the big blue eyes of a draconequus cub looking straight at her. A big smile appeared on her face once Discord handed the cub over to her for her to get a closer look. “And who’s this little cutie pie?”, she said in a goofy voice, which instantly got the cub to giggle.
“This is Synthia.”, Discord said, gazing down at the laughing draconequus.
“Hey there little Synthia, I’m Auntie Fluttershy. Aren’t you just the cutest, sweetest little thing!”, she said while tickling the baby draconequus. “ Discord, when were you gonna tell me you became a dad?”
“Today actually, I found her yesterday.”, he said, remembering finding her out in the rain, cold and wet.
“Found her? What do you mean?”, Fluttershy asked, clearly confused.
“Mommy, Mommy! Let me hold baby!”, Chrysanthos pleaded while bouncing on his back hooves, front hooves outstretched towards his mother’s arms.
“Not now Chryssie, now go play with your sister. So, you found her?”, she continued once she was sure her son was out of the room.
“Yes. It was right after I left from here, when it was raining, and I found her in the middle of nowhere.”
“Oh, you poor baby. Well, Discord you say she’s not yours, but are you sure she isn’t. I mean look at her, she kind of looks like you.”, Fluttershy said, looking at Synthia.
“I……I-”, Discord said before stopping himself. There was no way this cub could biologically be his. He has never been with another draconequus, let alone seen one, not since……since,” Well, there was this… one time..”, he stopped himself again, thinking.
He took a good long look at Synthia. In a way, she did kind of remind him of himself when he was a cub, and someone else, but he didn’t want to believe it. He also took a look at her wings. The last draconequus he had seen had two feathered wings, but he had one wing covered in feathers, and the other was a dragon wing. This cub also had only one wing with feathers, feathers that were a lighter shade of blue than his. And when he looked at her face, she reminded him of someone who he hasn’t seen in a year and a half. She even has the same eyes as her…..
“What did you say?”, his thoughts were interrupted by the yellow pegasus looking up at him with an even more confused look.
“Nothing, I said nothing. By the way, is Big Mac here?”, he asked after a moment of silence.
“No, he actually went down to Sweet Apple Acres earlier this morning, why?”
“I was hoping he could give me some tips on how to take care of a baby. Give me some advice on being a father.”
“Oh, well Big Macintosh may not be here at the moment, but I am, and I’d be happy to help you out.”, Fluttershy said with a sweet smile on her face.
“Really? Thank you so much Fluttershy, anything you can think of would be really useful. Can’t be that hard though, right…..what?”, he said, once he saw Fluttershy with a questioning look.
“Discord…….you have a lot to learn.”
